Hammam Care’s role is specific: the brand purchases directly and responsibly from women’s cooperatives at fair prices. Hammam Care does not operate or directly finance the cooperatives’ social and environmental programs.

Reforestation and Protection of the Argan Grove
The argan tree plays an important environmental, social and economic role in the regions where it grows.
The cooperative network participates in reforestation work that includes identifying suitable land, selecting quality seedlings, developing appropriate irrigation and monitoring the trees over time. Cooperative members work with specialists to encourage sustainable practices and improve the long-term success of the plantations.
Protecting the argan grove helps preserve the local environment while maintaining an important source of livelihood for women and their communities.

Development funds managed by the cooperative network and its partners support social, cultural and health initiatives for cooperative members and their communities.
According to the cooperative, these have included medical services, health-awareness and prevention programs, medicines, medical caravans and measures to improve sanitary conditions. Other actions have included educational supplies, family assistance, food baskets and support responding to local needs.
